SIMBA Chain continues to help the U.S. Air Force with Additive Manufacturing efforts on the battlefield and at home. With SIMBA, the Air Force’s BASECAMP project will be able to decentralize Additive Manufacturing in the field while maintaining the integrity of data. SIMBA also won the gold medal in the 2020 Additive Manufacturing Olympics. The Advanced Manufacturing Olympics was created to bring together technology companies, startups, traditional and non-traditional U.S. Department of Defense contractors, academia, and student to help solve some of the Air Force’s most significant sustainment issues.
